Any blank areas of the plan will show in red text denoting that information has not been completed. But consider carefully before skipping as this may be important to some aspect of your operations or may assist an expedited recovery of your business.

What is the time to complete in the lower right corner based on? This time is based on how long it takes to use the toolkit and navigate through the interactive videos and screens. It does not account for the time to gather/research and enter your business information into the tool, as that is different for each business.

Where can I get help or assistance with risk identification for my location? Contact your local and/or state emergency management office as they should be able to provide you with a Hazard Identification Vulnerability Analysis (HIVA) document. Many HIVA documents can be found on their websites, but it can save time by calling first.
